Maruti Suzuki XL6 Prices Hiked by Up to Rs. 10,000

Maruti Suzuki has nudged up prices on its XL6 MPV, a move that lands just as the model gears up for what could be its biggest update since it first went on sale in 2022.
The Zeta CNG trim has taken the sharpest hit, becoming costlier by Rs. 10,000. Every other variant in the line-up, spanning the Zeta petrol manual, Alpha petrol manual, Zeta petrol automatic, Alpha+ petrol manual, Alpha+ petrol manual dual-tone, Alpha petrol automatic, Alpha+ petrol automatic, and Alpha+ petrol automatic dual-tone, has gone up by a more modest Rs. 5,000 apiece.
With this revision in place, the XL6 now carries an ex-showroom price tag ranging from Rs. 11.57 lakh at the entry point to Rs. 14.52 lakh for the top-spec version. It is worth noting that on-road figures will naturally run higher once state taxes and registration costs are factored in, and these vary considerably from city to city.
This is not an isolated tweak. The XL6 joins a fairly long list of Maruti Suzuki products that have seen their price cards altered over the past month, including the e Vitara, Jimny, Swift, Dzire, Fronx, Baleno, Invicto, and Ertiga.
Carmakers routinely fine-tune pricing to account for input costs, and such periodic adjustments across a brand's portfolio are not unusual, though a cluster of revisions within such a short window does suggest the company has been actively recalibrating its price strategy through the middle of the year.
The timing is what makes this particular hike noteworthy. The XL6 is widely expected to receive a substantial facelift later this month, its first meaningful overhaul since launch.
Buyers eyeing the current model will want to weigh whether to make a purchase now or hold out for the updated version, which is likely to bring styling and feature changes alongside a fresh price structure of its own.
For now, though, the existing XL6 continues to be sold as before, only at slightly higher prices, and it remains a rival to other three-row MPVs and crossovers in its segment.
Those planning to buy the MPV in the immediate term should factor in the revised pricing when budgeting, since even a Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000 shift can influence financing calculations, particularly for buyers working close to a fixed budget ceiling.
