Maruti Suzuki India is one of the largest automakers in the market and has launched its S-Presso Xtra model. The variant comes with multiple exterior and interior upgrades and enhancements.
The model's starting price is expected to be INR 425,000, based on the top-spec VXI+ variant. However, no official price has been announced by the company yet, but it is expected to release the details soon.
Exterior: The S-Presso Xtra has a door classing, front skid plate, and wheel arch cladding, giving a more rugged appearance. The interior has contrasting red-colored inserts on the circular center console, door panels, along with a red-themed floor mats.
Interior: Considering the features, it has 14-inch steel wheels, wheel caps, and a 7-pinch smart play touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has steering-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, all power windows, and reverse parking sensors.
Performance: The S-Presso Xtra is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder K10C Dualjet petrol engine, which produces 66 PS of maximum power and 90 Nm of maximum torque. It has both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT transmission. However, this is not mentioned if it will come with the CNG powertrain option.
The SUV is launching in the market and would be a direct competition to Hyundai Santro, Renault KWID, and Citroen C3.
