XEV 9e fresh electric SUV model in the company’s production that started in June this year at Mahindra’s Indian plant, today boasts of a five-star safety rating in the BNCAP safety ratings. Only the BE 6 that followed the XEV 9e in the program got 100 per cent in adult occupant protection.

In crash tests, the XEV 9e recorded high levels of structural stiffness and the integration of highly developed safety devices for the safety of adult occupants.
Child Occupant Protection
Score: 45/49
Anchorage points and compatibility with complex child-seat systems also contributed to the achievement of a high result in this segment.
The XEV 9e is equipped with cutting-edge safety technologies:
Level 2 Radar-Based ADAS Suite: It is also known as intelligent cruise control; its assets are forward-emergency alert and automatic lane centring.
360-degree Camera: This results in improved detachability and much simpler manipulation particularly in a congested area since more space in the automobile is utilized.
Seven Airbags: Offers fairly acceptable rates of passive safety to the users.
