A major mid-cycle update for the well-liked full-size SUV, Mahindra is getting ready to introduce the redesigned Scorpio-N in India in early 2026, most likely between January and March.
It is anticipated that the updated model will expand on the advantages of the current Scorpio-N while incorporating well-considered improvements in functionality, design, and technology.
The Scorpio-N's muscular posture and general body shape will not change, but the facelift will add sophisticated external features.
According to spy photos of cleverly disguised test mules, the SUV will have new alloy wheels, a revamped grille, reshaped bumpers, and updated headlamps. The goal of these changes is to offer the Scorpio-N a more contemporary road presence without losing sight of its rough nature.
The redesigned Scorpio-N's cabin will receive significant improvements. According to reports, the present smaller screen will be replaced by a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with better user-friendly controls and connectivity. This technology is probably taken from other recent Mahindra models.
Customers may also anticipate a premium sound system, dual-zone climate control, greater comfort features, and an array of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for increased safety.
Mahindra is anticipated to stick with its current engine portfolio, which includes the 2.0-liter turbo-petrol and 2.2-liter diesel alternatives. These will still come with 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes, and certain diesel models should still have four-wheel drive.
The redesigned Scorpio-N will be released in 2026 along with a number of other Mahindra SUVs, such as the redesigned XUV7XO (formerly known as the XUV700). The new Scorpio-N, which offers a tough ladder-frame design with improved creature comforts and technology, will continue to fight with competing seven-seat SUVs like the Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcazar while being somewhat more expensive than the previous model.
