Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Freedom Edition Launched at ₹24.45 Lakh
The Formula E Freedom Edition is available in Three and Four variants, with prices starting at ₹24.45 lakh (ex-showroom) and deliveries beginning on 26 August.
The Formula E Freedom Edition uses a 79 kWh battery pack, producing 281 bhp and 380 Nm with a claimed range of up to 683 km.
Mahindra has launched the BE 6 Sporteq Formula E Freedom Edition in India as part of the expanded BE 6 Sporteq range. The special edition is available in two versions, Three and Four, and draws its design theme from Mahindra Racing's involvement in Formula E.
Prices start at ₹24.45 lakh (ex-showroom) and exclude the cost of the charger. Both versions are offered exclusively with the 79 kWh battery pack.

Both Formula E Freedom Edition variants are offered with a 79 kWh battery pack and a rear-wheel-drive electric powertrain. The Formula E Freedom Edition also gets an Acceleration Boost function, with Mahindra claiming a 0–100 km/h time of 6.44 seconds.

The Formula E Freedom Edition retains the overall design of the BE 6 while receiving specific exterior colours and interior details that distinguish it from other versions.
Exterior Colours: The model is available in four paint options, including a new shade called Rosso Impulso.
Interior Theme: Both variants feature a Black and Firestorm Orange dual-tone cabin colour scheme.
Halo Layout: The Formula E Freedom Edition gets a two-screen halo display setup across both variants, unlike the other BE 6 Sporteq versions.
The Three version includes equipment such as an Infinity Roof, LED DRL animation, a powered driver's seat with memory, adaptive suspension, carpet lamps and virtual engine sounds.

Bookings for the BE 6 Formula E Freedom Edition are now open, while deliveries are scheduled to start on August 26, 2026.
With bookings now open, the Formula E Freedom Edition adds two new versions to the BE 6 Sporteq range. Customers can choose between the Three and Four variants, with deliveries scheduled to begin on 26 August 2026.
