Kia Seltos Gets Two New Top-Spec Variants
  • New Seltos variants bring more features and a stronger ADAS package

  • GTX (O) and X-Line (O) are priced identically at Rs 21.56 lakh, ex-showroom

Kia India has widened the Seltos range with two fresh top-end variants, positioned above the existing GTX (A) trim. Named the GTX (O) and X-Line (O), both are priced at Rs 21.56 lakh, ex-showroom, and go further in kitting out what is already a well-equipped mid-size SUV in its class.

What Does the GTX (O) Variant Offer

The GTX (O) is built around added convenience and functionality. Over and above the GTX (A), it gains a head-up display, an air purifier with an AQI readout, and a dashcam with both front and rear camera coverage.

Rain-sensing wipers make an appearance too, along with built-in navigation on the 12.3-inch touchscreen and a one-touch auto up and down function across all four windows.

How Has the Safety Package Been Upgraded

Kia has also strengthened the Seltos' safety credentials on this variant. The GTX (O) introduces the ADAS F+ package, which adds front collision avoidance assist during junction crossings and lane changes, evasive steering assist for avoidance manoeuvres, and navigation-linked smart cruise control.

This last feature uses map data to automatically moderate speed through curves and posted speed zones, reducing the driver's workload on unfamiliar roads.

What Sets the X-Line (O) Apart

Priced the same as the GTX (O), the X-Line (O) carries over every one of those additions while layering on its own visual identity.

Buyers get access to exclusive Matte Graphite and Aurora Black Pearl paint options, along with 18-inch black alloy wheels. Gloss black skid plates front and rear, along with side door garnishing, round off the exterior changes, while the cabin gets a black and green leatherette theme to distinguish it from the standard car.

Which Engines Power These Variants

Both new variants come with a choice of the 1.5-litre turbo petrol or the 1.5-litre diesel engine, matching the powertrain options already familiar to Seltos buyers further down the range. The wider Seltos lineup continues to start at Rs 10.99 lakh, ex-showroom, meaning the new top-spec trims sit well above the entry point while giving buyers who want the works a more rounded proposition to choose from.

With the GTX (O) and X-Line (O) now filling out the top of the range, Kia has effectively given the Seltos a stronger case against segment rivals on both feature count and driver assistance tech, without touching the core mechanical package.
