Hyundai has launched a new variant for the Venue, the S(O) +, priced at Rs 10 lakh. This variant introduces a sunroof over the existing S(O) variant, making it the most affordable Venue variant with this feature.
The S(O) + variant is priced at Rs 10 lakh, positioned between the S(O) (Rs 9.89 lakh) and SX (Rs 11.05 lakh) variants. Adding an electric sunroof is the primary difference from the S(O) variant.
Available exclusively with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Apart from the sunroof, the S(O) + variant includes LED projector headlamps with Daytime Running Lamps, an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a digital instrument cluster.
Safety features encompass six airbags, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), and a rear camera.
Despite introducing the S(O) + variant, the Hyundai Venue is not the most affordable compact SUV with a sunroof in India. The Mahindra XUV 3OO MX2 Pro holds that title at Rs 8.99 lakh. The Hyundai Venue competes with models such as the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3OO, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Fronx, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Toyota Taisor.
The Hyundai Venue's price range spans from Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 13.48 lakh, catering to a wide spectrum of buyers in the compact SUV segment.
The new S(O) + variant offers an affordable option for those looking to enjoy the luxury of a sunroof in their compact SUV, enhancing the appeal of the Hyundai Venue in the competitive Indian market.
