Hyundai Launches “Knight Edition” for i20, Priced at ₹9.15 Lakh

Hyundai has officially launched the i20 Knight Edition in India. The special edition is designed to offer a sportier and more premium look than the standard i20. It is available in the Sportz (O) and Asta (O) manual and CVT trims. Prices start at ₹9.15 lakh (ex-showroom), which is roughly ₹10,000 - ₹35,000 higher than the standard i20 models.

The Knight Edition aims to attract buyers looking for a stylish hatchback with subtle upgrades without changing the core parts of the car.

The All-Black Exteriors

The Knight Edition comes with an all-black theme, making the i20 stand out on the road. Exterior updates include:

The i20 Knight Edition price range starts at ₹9.15 lakh for Sportz (O) Asta (O) manual and CVT trims. Hyundai has also extended the Knight Edition treatment to the i20 N Line, which is available in N8 and N10 trims, with a starting price of ₹11.43 lakh (ex-showroom).

The mechanics of both models stay the same. The i20 is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a choice of a five-speed manual or CVT, while the i20 N Line comes with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, with a choice of either a six-speed manual or a dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
