Honda Elevate V CVT at Rs 13.79 Lakh Reaches Dealers
  • The Honda Elevate V CVT costs Rs 13.79 lakh (ex-showroom), Rs 1.50 lakh more than the V manual at Rs 12.29 lakh. It is the cheapest automatic in the Elevate range.

  • The 1.5-litre petrol engine is unchanged at 121 PS and 145 Nm, with a certified 16.61 kmpl for the CVT. Honda has added no hybrid, diesel or CNG option.

Sixteen days after Honda launched the facelifted Elevate on October 6, 2026, the Honda Elevate V CVT has reportedly reached a dealer showroom.

Still unconfirmed: the exact dispatch date, the waiting period and the paint charge. Ask the dealer for all three.

What Rs 13.79 lakh buys, and what it skips

Outside, the V CVT has LED projector headlamps, LED tail lamps with dual trails and 16-inch steel wheels with covers. The illuminated full-width tail lamp that marks the facelift starts a step higher, at the VX.

Inside, there is an 8-inch touchscreen with wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control and rear AC vents. Six airbags are standard across the range. The CVT adds an electronic parking brake with auto hold, rear disc brakes, remote engine start and paddle shifters.

Missing are the sunroof, alloy wheels, rear wiper and ADAS, short for advanced driver assistance systems, such as automatic braking and lane keeping.

Note: Prices are ex-showroom as of October 22, 2026. Pearl and dual-tone paint cost extra, and Honda's release gives no amount.

Same engine, a small price rise

The engine makes 121 PS at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. A CVT, short for continuously variable transmission, is an automatic without fixed gears, and this one has a 7-speed manual mode. Honda's certified figure is 16.61 kmpl against 15.31 kmpl for the manual. Both are test-cycle numbers, not real-world ones.

Listings show the pre-facelift V CVT at Rs 13.43 lakh, so the new car costs Rs 36,000, or about 2.7 per cent, more.

Cheapest in the Elevate range, not in the segment

Listings show the Maruti Victoris VXI AT at Rs 13.41 lakh ex-showroom. On the road in Delhi, the Elevate V CVT is listed at Rs 15,98,995, which is Rs 43,693 above that Victoris.

Industry estimates put Elevate sales at 599 units in September 2026, down 73 per cent from 2,199 a year earlier and ninth of 11 in the segment. That was the month before the facelift, so it says little about demand for the new car. Bharat NCAP, India's crash-test programme, has not published an Elevate rating.

What it means for buyers

Look at the VX CVT before you sign for the V. It costs Rs 1.60 lakh more, at Rs 15.39 lakh, and adds a sunroof, alloy wheels, a rear wiper and the connected tail lamp. The V CVT suits a buyer who wants the lowest automatic price and accepts a plainer car. If driver assistance matters more, the ZX manual also costs Rs 15.39 lakh.
