Here is a rundown of the car launches scheduled for May 2024

Maruti Suzuki Swift Generation;

Maruti Suzuki has started accepting bookings, for the iteration of the Swift in India with dealers now sending out deliveries, in preparation for the upcoming launch. The 2024 Swift will come with a 1.2 liter 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 80 BHP at 5,700 rpm and 112 Nm at 4,300 rpm. It is expected to be paired with both a 5-speed transmission and an AMT variant.

Tata Altroz Racer;

The sporty Tata Altroz Racer, a version of the Altroz hatchback was revealed at the 2023 Auto Expo. Recent reports suggest that this high-performance model could soon hit the market. The Altroz Racer is likely to feature a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo petrol engine borrowed from the Nexon delivering 118 BHP and 170 Nm of torque through a six-speed gearbox.

Mercedes Benz C300 Petrol;

Mercedes Benz is preparing to launch the C300 petrol model in India this year replacing the C300d variant by Q2 of 2024.

The C 300 is set to be equipped with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder turbo petrol engine paired with a system and a 9-speed automatic transmission producing 254 horsepower along, with an extra 23 horsepower from the hybrid technology. It delivers a peak torque of 400 Nm, which is slightly lower than its diesel variant and there may be an option for a loaded AMG line model.

3rd Gen Porsche Panamera

Regarding the generation of the Porsche Panamera pricing was announced by Porsche in November 2023. Bookings and deliveries are expected to commence this month providing enthusiasts with an opportunity to enjoy the latest version of this luxurious sports sedan.

Mahindra XUV799 Blaze

Mahindra is preparing to reveal the XUV700 Blaze Edition, a limited production model distinguished by its eye-catching "Matte Blaze Red" finish, Napoli Black roof, black ORVMs (outside view mirrors), and black alloy wheels that create a unique appearance accentuated by the blacked-out B, C and D pillars for a sleek look.

The Force Gurkha

Force Motors has launched updated versions of the Gurkha off-roader, in both 3-door and 5-door body styles now offered at starting prices of lakh and Rs.18 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Force Gurkha comes equipped with a 2.6 liter 4 cylinder diesel engine that delivers 138 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed transmission and a 4x4 system providing performance both on and, off the road.

Isuzu V Cross 2024;

Isuzu has officially launched the 2024 V pickup truck in India starting at Rs 21,19,900 (ex-showroom) featuring enhancements. The latest version is powered by a 1.9-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 163 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque. It offers a choice between a 6-speed manual or an automatic torque converter gearbox along with a four-wheel drive system for capabilities.

BMW M4 Competition M xDrive 2024;

BMW has introduced the M4 Competition M xDrive for the market in the CBU segment at an ex-showroom price of Rs.1.53 crore. The M4 is equipped with the potent S58 turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine delivering the performance of, up to 523 BHP @6,250 rpm and 650 Nm @2,750 5,370 rpm. It comes paired with a speed transmission and BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system enabling acceleration from 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
