The Auto Expo 2025 which is the Greater India Auto Show will include some of the most interesting SUV Disciplines of auto markets from manufacturers across the country.
From the world’s favourite car models targeting the middle and lower-class markets to luxurious and modern cars, the event will be the epitome of innovation and advanced technology.
Here is some information on the fantasy viewpoint, to help you know the most attractive SUV sharing at this year's expo.
Hyundai’s first ever mass production electric SUV is the Hyundai Creta Electric which will launch on January 17, 2025.
Battery Options: 42 kWh (390 km range) & 51.4 kWh (‘473’ km range).
Features: Sunroof, BOSE eight speakers, interior lighting and Level 2 driving assistance technologies.
The Syros, a sub-4 metre premium SUV brand will also exhibit at the expo.
Engine Options: 1.0L turbo-petrol – 120 PS & 1.5L diesel – 116 hp.
Features: Two deep lights, two 12.3-inch screens, a second-row seat climate, the second-row seat ventilation, and a panoramic roof.
Tata Motors will unveil the Sierra SUV fully electrified as well as ICE powertrain options.
EV Specs: 50-75 kWh battery with its 400-500 km range (neither confirmed by the number of actual cars).
ICE Specs: New models include: 5L turbo-petrol (170 PS) and, second, 2.0L diesel (170 PS).
Features: Central control air conditioning, electrically operated and controlled front and rear seats and other features.
Mahindra will bring two advanced electric SUVs:
BE 6: The range is up to 682 km supporting the starting price of ₹18.90 lakh.
XEV 9e: The range of the product is up to 656 km and comes with a price of ₹30.50 Lakhs.
In a nutshell, the two models have a panoramic roof, an augmented reality-based heads-up display and a Level-2 advanced driver assistance system.
The large and heavy electric G-Class stands out with off-road performance and a 455 km range of a 116 kWh battery.
Features: Two 12.3-inch screens, turn signal control through the G-Turn, and interior lighting.
Range: Up to 641 km.
Price: ₹1.21–1.68 crore.
Features: Learner intervention, exterior features, innovative displays ADAS tech, and a splendid interior.
Price: Estimated ₹1 crore.
Specs: Petrol and diesel options powered by global benchmarks and proven for their performance.
VinFast VF3
Specs: With the self-charging hybrid system, efficient 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle 3ZR-FBE petrol engine and an electric motor producing 71 kW and 71 kW respectively, the Car Offers a 64 kWh battery with a 215 km range.
Price: Estimated ₹10 lakh.
VinFast VF9
Specs: 123 kWh battery which provides a journey range of 531 km.
Price: Estimated ₹50 lakh.
Taking up various categories, starting from small runabouts such as Kia Syros and Tata Sierra up to luxury sport utilities including Mercedes Benz G 580 and Porsche Macan EV, Auto Expo 2025 will outline the future of SUVs in India.
