Citroen C3 Sport Edition Launch Unveiled ahead of its launch

Citroen plans to bring a sporty twist to its well-loved compact SUV, the C3, by launching the Sport Edition. After the excitement around the C3 Dark Edition, this version aims to boost the car's looks and tech features without changing how it drives.

Dealers hint that the launch is happening soon, and some early info has already leaked before the big announcement.

Bold Styling and Interior Makeover

The Citroen C3 Sport Edition stands out compared to the standard models with its rally-themed decals and a fresh interior that includes red accents. The seats will include red details and 'SPORT' badges stitched into them to create a sporty vibe inside.

The cabin may also get ambient lighting and a wireless phone charger, which are features aimed at meeting what buyers are looking for these days. It will also have a dashcam, which makes it a sensible choice for people driving in cities.

The new edition brings over features from the higher-end trim. It has automatic climate control, auto-folding side mirrors accented AC knobs, a touchscreen infotainment screen that measures 10.25 inches, and a digital instrument cluster that's 7 inches wide. You’ll also get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a basic four-speaker audio system.

Engine and Performance Stay the Same

The Sport Edition uses the same 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, which produces 108.6 bhp and 205 Nm torque. This engine pairs with a six-speed automatic gearbox. As with most special editions, there are no changes to the mechanical setup.

Safety remains strong, including six airbags ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts, ESP, TPMS, hill-hold assist, and a rear-view camera, which are all expected to stay in place.

Price and Launch Details

Citroen might charge about ₹30,000 extra for the C3 Sport Edition compared to the current top model. This limited-edition variant targets buyers seeking sharper looks and added features while sticking to the same car lineup.

The C3 Sport Edition looks ready to bring a sportier vibe to Citroen’s growing lineup in India.
