Citroen Aircross X to Launch This Festive Season with Feature Upgrades

Citroen is thus gaining momentum in India with consecutive launches and the next one in the pipeline is the Aircross X. The introduction of C3X and Basalt X will be followed by Aircross X, which will be introduced in the festive season with the intention of appealing to customers regarding new feature additions to the current package with retained mechanical features.

Possible Improvements

Similar to the Basalt X, the coming Aircross X will enjoy a more attractive feature that would make it a more attractive offer in the competitive three-row SUV. New features could be a 360 camera, keyless start with push button entry, ventilated front seats, dual tone upholstery and a full LED head display.

Citroen is also providing wireless phone mirroring that will act as an added value to the buyers of the car who are technologically oriented. The rumor surrounding the new Cara virtual assistant, which first appeared on other brands, is also possible to see in the Aircross X and provide the SUV with the advantage of digital user-friendliness.

No change in Powertrain options

The powertrain lineup has not changed as opposed to the features list. It will be powered by a Citroen 1.2-litre turbo-petrol producing 109bhp with 190Nm/205Nm, depending on whether the buyers would choose the six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic engine. A cheaper base model with an 80bhp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol will also remain within the line-up.

Positioning in a difficult Segment

Citroen is on a rocky path as its competitors, including Hyundai, Kia, and Tata continue enhancing their services. Nevertheless, this innovation of the brand of adding more high-quality features at a competitive price may be the push the Aircross X requires.

The ongoing festive season and conventional goodwill of buyers after the recent revisions of GST can offer the critical opportunity to invent Citroen to capture increased volumes and cement its presence in the Indian SUV market.
