Audi Q8 Facelift to be Launched in India Tomorrow

Audi India is set to unveil the facelifted version of its flagship SUV, the Q8, on August 22, 2024. The Q8, which made its global debut last year, has generated significant interest in India, with bookings already open for a token amount of Rs. 5,00,000. This eagerly awaited model promises to blend luxury with performance, making it a standout in the Indian luxury SUV market.

The new Audi Q8 comes with a host of exterior upgrades, including a more prominent trapezoidal grille finished in black, complete with a 2D Audi logo. The SUV also features wider air dams, new Matrix LED headlamps, and a refreshed rear profile with redesigned OLED taillamps and a reworked bumper. The Q8 will be available in eight striking color options: Mythos Black, Sakhir Gold, Glacier White, Waitomo Blue, Tamarind Brown, Samurai Gray, Vicuna Beige, and Satellite Silver.

Inside, the Q8 facelift continues Audi's tradition of understated elegance combined with cutting-edge technology. The cabin can be customized in four distinct themes: Pando Gray, Okapi Brown, Black, and Saiga Beige. The dashboard is modern and minimalistic, featuring a three-screen setup that includes an infotainment system, an AC control panel, and a digital instrument cluster. The four-spoke steering wheel adds a classic touch to the otherwise contemporary interior.

In terms of features, the Q8 leaves little to be desired. It comes equipped with ventilated and powered front seats, four-zone climate control, a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, customizable ambient lighting, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, ensuring both comfort and safety for its occupants.

Under the hood, the facelifted Q8 is powered by a robust 3.0-litre TFSI engine, complemented by a 48V mild-hybrid system. This setup delivers an impressive 340 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque, ensuring that the Q8 performs as well as it looks. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, providing smooth and responsive gear shifts.

With its refreshed design, luxurious features, and powerful engine, the new Audi Q8 is set to make a significant impact in the Indian luxury SUV segment. Stay tuned for the official pricing announcement tomorrow.
