Audi A4 Signature Edition Launched in India at ₹57.11 Lakh with Enhanced Features

Audi India has launched the A4 Signature Edition at a price of ₹57.11 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The A4 Signature is simply better than the standard A4, especially when you are given the changes to comfort, and you are paying the same price as the standard car.

Exterior Enhancements: Sporty and Sophisticated

On the exterior, the A4 Signature Edition comes with subtle cosmetic upgrades. These include Audi rings decals on the rear doors, dynamic wheel hub caps, and a boot-lid spoiler that provides the sedan with a somewhat sportier appearance.

The luxury trim can be had in five metallic exterior colors - Glacier White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Progressive Red and Manhattan Grey.

Interior Changes and New Features

On the interior, the features include new oak wood decorative inlays on the dashboard, customisable key covers, LED puddle lamps with Audi logo, and stainless steel pedal covers.

The standout feature added is Park Assist with a 360-degree camera, which is a nice touch when maneuvering in tight parking spaces. The model also added a new fragrance dispenser in the car for added premium appeal.

Many of the features carried over from the technology trim include the 10.1-inch touchscreen, Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, powered front seats with memory, 30 colours of ambient interior lighting, three-zone climate control, so people can still enjoy a tech-heavy environment.

Powertrain and Performance: No Mechanical Changes

Under the skin though, the A4 Signature Edition does not change at all. It continues to use the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 204hp and 320Nm of torque mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The sedan goes from 0-100kph in 7.1s, reaches a top speed of 241kph, and even has a 12V mild hybrid system.

Moving forward

While this Signature Edition offers a fresh outlook to the current A4, Audi's A5 sedan - launched on its global stage, will in due time take the place of the A4. However, we don't know how long it's going to take to arrive in India. For now though, the A4 Signature Edition is a good option for those looking for a premium sedan that offers styling and features above and beyond the standard models.
