2026 Honda City Launched in India at ₹12 Lakh: Price, Features & Updates
Honda has launched the updated 2026 City in India with prices starting at ₹12 lakh (ex-showroom).
Available in four variants—SV, V, ZX and ZX+.
The facelift introduces a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and continues with both petrol and strong hybrid powertrain options.
Honda Cars India has launched the 2026 Honda City facelift at an introductory price of ₹12 lakh (ex-showroom).
Marking the second major update for the fifth-generation sedan introduced in 2020, the refreshed City receives updated styling, new features and enhanced technology to stay competitive against rivals such as the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.

The 2026 City receives a noticeably revised front-end design. Honda has introduced sleeker LED headlamps connected by a light bar, a new honeycomb-pattern grille and a redesigned bumper that gives the sedan a more modern appearance.

The standard 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 121 hp and 145 Nm of torque and is available with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission.
For buyers prioritising fuel efficiency, Honda continues to offer the 1.5-litre strong-hybrid system producing 126 hp and 253 Nm, paired with an e-CVT transmission. Honda claims a fuel efficiency figure of 27.26 kmpl for the hybrid variant.
