2025 Skoda Kodiaq Variant Details Out: Launch Around the Corner
As the buzz surrounding the second-generation Skoda Kodiaq hits a deafening pitch, the erstwhile details on specifications and features have been revealed. The Kodiaq is set to land on Indian shores in a matter of weeks with a new design, technical upgrades, and an uprated engine.
The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq will see the light of day in Sportline and Laurin & Klement (L&K) trims. Full colour options have yet to be issued; however, expect five to six exterior tones adhering to Skoda's signature clean and premium design language.
From the outside, the redesigned Kodiaq has a new set of bumpers, tweaked front and rear LED lighting, an aggressive grille, and new alloy wheels. Both variants will have a panoramic sunroof, adding to the Kodiaq's premium appeal.
Entering the new Kodiaq's cabin looks fresh and modern, drawing elements from a slew of new Skoda products. Most notably, the interior houses a bigger touchscreen unit, a minimalist two-spoke steering wheel, and an updated dashboard concept. It is expected that the luxury-oriented L&K variant will add even more features, including equipment like a premium sound system.
Underneath the skin, the new-generation Kodiaq will sport a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 201 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. It will be mated to a smooth Skoda 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, probably coupled with an all-wheel-drive system-ready to deliver a performance-oriented and refined driving experience.
While no official date has been set for the launch, the timing of this variant reveal suggests it is just around the corner. If you're looking for a three-row premium SUV with a heart of European charm, the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq is worth the wait.
