2025 Scorpio N to receive ADAS, and new Z8T variant

Mahindra & Mahindra is also planning an extensive update on its best-selling Scorpio N SUV in the year 2025. This is expected to happen soon, where the company will add Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to the highest trim Z8L. Also, the top-spec variant Z8T in Scorpio N is a bid to ensure that it creates an even more competitive and attractive premium SUV for tech-savvy buyers.

The Z8T will belong to the luxury Z8 group, but it will carry with it everything that it has with the Z8 and some crucial improvements, such as the electronic parking brake and the auto-hold feature.

The Scorpio N line-up will now comprise seven derivatives within three ranges.

  • All Levels: Z2, Z4

  • Mid-Range: Z6

  • High end: Z8S, Z8, Z8T, Z8L

Its few variations still available, both in petrol and diesel engines, 6-seater and 7-seater, manual or automatic transmission and 2WD or 4WD versions.

Z8L to Feature Level 2 ADAS

As the most significant news under this update, there will be a Z8L version introduced with Level 2 ADAS, which can be considered a breakthrough in terms of safety and driver assistance systems. This will make it consistent with the safety standards worldwide, particularly relevant to consignments/exports such as Australia, where systems such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) have been made compulsory.

The 10 New ADAS features featured in the 2025 Scorpio N Z8L will be:

  • Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) - Vehicle, Pedestrian and Cyclist

  • ACC with stop & Go (AT Variant)

  • Smart Pilot Assist (SPA) - AT only

  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

  • Lane Keep Assist (LKA)

  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)

  • Speed limit assist (SLA) -AT only

  • High Beam Assist (HBA)

  • Front Vehicle Start Alert (FVSA) -AT only

These changes restate Mahindra to be a company with a focus on innovation and safety. The 2025 Scorpio N comes not only stronger and tougher than ever, but brighter and safer with such improvements.
