Volkswagen Taigun GT line Flash red colour has been launched

The Volkswagen Taigun compact SUV in the GT Line variant has a sporty design in newer colours, and to make this suitably sporty, the newer colour is Flash Red. The new color exclusively comes to this model as it is more dramatic with the contrasting black roof and blacked out A-B pillars are added to it, which make it more visible on Indian roads.

Flash Red color is another way of Volkswagen ensuring that the Taigun does not fall stagnant in case of the stiff competition within its compact SUV segment. The colour is an exclusive feature in the GT Line variant that lies in the Sport sub-category of the Taigun range.

Under the hood: No mechanical changes

The Flash Red coloured Taigun GT Line continues with the 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine with 114bhp and 178Nm of torque. The engine is provided in manual and automatic transmissions, and hence it gives flexibility to the buyer who would want to have the choice of either driving.

The performance set up here is fixed with this update being cosmetic oriented rather than functional which means that the update concentrates solely on the design and visual aspect of things.

Styling Highlights and Existing Features

In addition to the new colour, the Taigun GT Line still gets unique GT Line badges, a black front grille, dark chrome door handles and 17-inch Cassino Black alloy wheels. It also has inky LED headlamps which are another sports addition to its personality over the other variants.

The Taigun in GT Line will be available in seven exterior colours with Flash Red entering the palette.

  • New Flash Red

  • Cherry Red

  • Candy White

  • Brilliant Silver

  • Rising Blue

  • Lava Blue

  • Carbon Steel

What’s Next for the Taigun?

Although this cosmetic refresh gives an energy boost to the existing range, a facelifted Taigun has already been caught testing, so Volkswagen might show a more extensive update some time in 2026. Until that time, the refreshed GT Line provides a new, vivid choice to the enthusiasts, who wish to combine style and performance.
