Vespa Dual Launched; Prices Start At Rs. 1.32 Lakh

Piaggio India has updated the Vespa scooter portfolio to meet the latest BSVI Phase-II norms and has added two new models to the Vespa 125 and 150 lineup. The 125-cc VXL variant starts at Rs. 1.32 lakh and the 150-cc SXL variant is for Rs. 1.49 lakh. The colour layout includes a dual-tone treatment for the scooter which includes parts like the bottom of the side body panels, the floorboard, panels behind the apron, pillion backrest and seat cover.

The feature list includes single-sided front suspension with hydraulic shock absorbers, LED headlamp units, CBS for 125-cc units and single-channel ABS for 150-cc scooters, 11-inch front wheel and 10-inch wheel at the rear for 150-cc, 10-inch wheel at either end for 125-cc, and front disc brake to name a few.

The 125-cc model makes a good 9.65 bhp at 7,400 rpm and 10.11 Nm of torque at 5,600 rpm, and the 150-cc model makes 10.54 bhp at 7,400 rpm and 11.26 Nm of torque at 5,300 rpm. Both units are now BSVI Phase-II compliant and can use OBD2 and E20 petrol as well.

The colour options include: Pearl White + Azuro Provenza, Pearl White + Beige, Pearl White + Matt Red, and Pearl White + Matt Black.
