The Indian auto industry has seen a lot of new cars being introduced in the first four months of 2024. May is expected to have three significant launches, including the new-gen Maruti Swift.

Force Gurkha 5-door:

Expected Price: Rs 16 lakh

The Force Gurkha 5-door was recently unveiled with a powerful 140 PS 2.6-litre diesel engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. It comes with a 4x4 drivetrain, new features, and seating for seven. The SUV has a 9-inch touchscreen, digital driver's display, dual airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift:

Expected Launch: Early May

Expected Price: Rs 6 lakh

The fourth-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift is making its way to India after being introduced in other markets. It features a new 1.2-litre petrol engine, available with manual or CVT transmission. The India version will not have the hybrid or AWD options but will come with features like a 9-inch touchscreen, auto AC, and six airbags.

Tata Altroz Racer:

Launch Date: TBD

Expected Price: Rs 10 lakh

The Tata Altroz Racer, showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, is a sportier version of the premium hatchback. It comes with a turbo-petrol engine, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, ventilated seats, and advanced safety features like six airbags and rain-sensing wipers.
