The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: New Features and Expectations
  • The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift includes new alloy wheels, dual-pod headlights, and a reworked front fascia.

  • A triple-screen configuration, improved technology including Level-2 ADAS, and other comfort enhancements are anticipated inside.

According to recent spy photos, the facelifted XUV700 has a drastically updated front end. The grille now features more noticeable vertical slats, making it stand out more. For a more contemporary appearance, the headlights switch to a dual-pod configuration, probably with upgraded LED DRLs.

The test mule's back bumper and possibly new LED taillight signature are hinted at. Additionally, the alloy wheels are brand-new, and their aerodynamic design suggests better performance and styling.

Features, Interior Design, and Technology Get a Big Boost

One of the greatest improvements inside is the inclusion of a triple-screen layout, perhaps influenced by Mahindra’s electrified versions. A driver display, an infotainment screen, and an extra passenger screen are anticipated components of this configuration.

With features like self-parking, sophisticated safety systems, and assistance aids, the upgraded vehicle might also enable Level-2 ADAS. According to sources, the captain-seat model (six-seater) should have rear ventilation, ambient lighting under a panoramic roof, and better audio through a Dolby or Harman system.

Crucially, the body's primary components, such as the fenders, doors, and bonnet, remain mostly unchanged, suggesting that this is a skillfully done mid-cycle update rather than a complete redesign.

No Major Shakeups in the Powertrain

Mahindra seems to be sticking with its tried-and-true engines. It is anticipated that the facelifted XUV700 would still have the same 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline and 2.2-liter diesel engines, along with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. It appears that the corporation is concentrating on refining rather than reinventing because there don't appear to be any significant mechanical modifications.

Launch Schedule & Cost Estimates

Although Mahindra hasn't made any formal announcements, analysts predict that the redesigned XUV700 will appear in Q1 2026. Given that the engines and fundamental design are unaltered, the price may go up slightly but not significantly from the existing model.
