The 2023 Tata Safari was snapped during a test drive recently, where its body was covered with camouflage print. The Safari facelift spied testing gives us an idea of what to expect from the brand-new 6 and 7-seat SUV.
Tata Motors launched Safari’s new look in February 2021. Since then, it has manufactured multiple versions of the SUV, such as Safari Gold, Safari Kaziranga, Safari Jet, Safari Adventure, and Safari Gold. Nevertheless, Tata Safari Facelift is set to make the entry in 2023 with upgraded features.
According to the spy images, it is assumed that the 2023 Tata Safari Facelift design will remain unchanged. However, some slight alterations might give it a fresh look. The bumper, grille, and headlamps will stay the same, but Tata Motors might make some amendments to the product before making the final launch.
While external changes will likely be the same, the new cabin might get new equipment, including an extensive infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, and an updated instrument cluster. However, it is yet to be confirmed by the brand.
The essential point here has been Tata Safari introducing ADAS (Advanced Driver Assitance System) technology in the upcoming 2023 Tata Safari Facelift, including rear-cross traffic alter, blind-spot monitor, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and auto emergency braking.
As of now, no changes are expected to be made in the powertrain department. It is expected to keep its Kryotech 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, producing 170 PS maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque.
We can expect the launch of this brand-new SUV next year. The current price of Tata Safari lies between Rs. 15. 45 lakh to Rs. 23.76 lakh (ex-showroom). Nonetheless, the price is expected to increase with the addition of ADAS technology.
