The Tata Punch EV has been spotted testing and we can expect changes on the exterior and interior with additional features for the EV guise.
The micro SUV seems to have a revised LED DRL unit, similar to the ones seen on the Curvv concept with a new alloy design and disc brakes for the rear tyres. The ORVMs seem to have been borrowed from the outgoing Harrier.
On the inside, it is likely to sport the new two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with a screen right at the centre. The layout was first seen on the Curvv concept, which was just backlit and displayed the Tata logo.
The upcoming steering wheel is expected to act as a screen that could relay information similar to the instrument cluster. Other features could include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charging pod, and a rotary gear selector to name a few.
The specifications are not out yet, but we can expect the car to be offered in two variants: Standard and Long Range. We can expect the Tata Punch EV to be housing the 26 kWh battery that also does duty for the Tata Tigor EV and the Nexon EV’s 30.2 kWh battery in the Long Range variant.
The Tata Punch EV can be expected to retail at a price tag that starts from Rs. 13 lakh and will stretch to Rs. 17 lakh.
