
The Tata Nexon facelift has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 8.10 lakh for the base Smart MT model and the top model will set you back by Rs. 12.99 lakh, both prices are ex-showroom. It is available in 11 trims - Smart, Smart+, Smart+ S, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative+, Creative+ S, Fearless, Fearless S and Fearless+ S.
The Tata Nexon facelift’s exterior features include projector LED headlamps, DRLs that double up as turn indicators, fog lamps with cornering lights, new front and rear bumpers, 16-inch alloy wheels, a light bar up front and at the rear. The SUV is available in six colour options - Fearless Purple, Pristine White, Creative Ocean, Pure Grey, Flame Red, and Daytona Grey.
The interior features include a 10.25-inch infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital dash, the Curvv concept-inspired steering wheel, a Range Rover-style gear selector, a 360 degree camera, front parking sensors, a nine-speaker sound system, a sunroof, hill hold assist, ESP, and six airbags among others.
The new Tata Nexon is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit that makes 118 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque. There is a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel unit on offer as well which produces 113 bhp and 260 Nm of peak torque.
The petrol unit comes mated to a six-speed manual/AMT/seven-speed DCT. And the diesel engine comes coupled to a six-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.
It rivals the likes of the Mahindra XUV 300, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet to name a few.
