Exciting news from Tata Motors! In the pipeline for 2024 are three new SUVs – the Tata Punch EV, Tata Curvv, and Tata Harrier EV – along with a revamped Altroz. These upcoming vehicles promise enhanced features, cutting-edge technology, and a fresh look, aiming to cater to diverse preferences in the ever-competitive automobile market.
Planned for early 2024, this electric version of the Punch SUV aims to be better equipped than its petrol counterpart. Some expected upgrades include LED headlamps, a sunroof, enhanced safety features like all-wheel disc brakes, and a unique design to distinguish it from the petrol model. Inside, it might sport a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen and a steering wheel similar to the new Nexon.
Expected to launch in the mid-2024, the Curvv is a stylish SUV-coupe with a sloping roofline, giving it a distinct look. Initially, it will be available as an electric vehicle, offering a range of about 400-500 km on a single charge. Later, a petrol version powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine might also be introduced. The car is expected to feature a range of technical advancements like a digital driver’s screen, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, touch-operable climate controls, and advanced safety features.
This model is planned for late 2024 and the Harrier EV will be Tata's first electric model based on the Harrier's Omega architecture. It's likely to get a 60kWh battery pack powering two motors to simulate all-wheel drive, offering a range of about 400-500 km. Expected features are similar to the updated Harrier model, such as advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
Price: Estimated between Rs 27 to 30 lakh.
This model's expected launch timing is not officially confirmed yet. The Altroz, Tata's premium hatchback, is set to receive its first major update. Along with refreshed design elements, interior changes are expected. Some additions may include a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, six airbags, wireless charging, and an air purifier. While the exact engine variants for the facelift have not been revealed yet, it might continue offering the existing engines, possibly with new gearbox options.
Price: Anticipated to be in the range of Rs 7 to 11 lakh.
Tata Motors aims to introduce these SUVs and update the Altroz with significant enhancements in technology, features, and design, and providing vast services to various customers according to their preferences in the market.
