Tata Altroz’s sportier version is confirmed to launch anytime soon as it drops a nerve-chilling video of its first-ever look. Examining the teaser in detail has shown several features that will be included in the next Tata Altroz Racer model.
The Altroz Racer will have a dynamic appearance thanks to a striking new orange paint job and a striking black roof. The bonnet, shoulder line, rear door handles, and pillars will all be completely blacked out. In addition, the automobile will have two white stripes that stretch the length of the roof and bonnet before concluding with a racing flag motif. It will also have 'Racer' badging on the front fender and a shark-fin antenna.
The Altroz Racer's interior will have several high-end features. A revamped digital cluster with new graphics, an electric sunroof, automated climate control, an infotainment screen and gear lever surround with orange inlays, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, and a wireless charger are some of these features.
The Altroz Racer edition is set to get a more powerful 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine borrowed from the Nexon producing 120 PS and 170 Nm featuring a new 6-speed manual transmission and can also get a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
The Tata Altroz Racer is expected to be priced from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). When it is released, the Tata Altroz Racer will go up against other aggressive hatchbacks, such as the Hyundai i20 N Line. For those seeking a fast hatchback with lots of frills, the Altroz Racer will appeal because of its more potent engine and high-end extras.
