Rolls-Royce has officially launched the Cullinan Series II facelift in India, with prices starting from Rs 10.50 crore for the standard version and Rs 12.25 crore for the Black Badge variant. This highly anticipated facelift, which debuted globally in May 2024, introduces a range of design upgrades, new technology, and a refreshed interior, while still boasting the luxury and power that Cullinan is renowned for.
The exterior of the Cullinan Series II features several notable updates:
Slimmer Headlamps: The new design incorporates sleeker headlights with L-shaped LED daytime running lights extending down to the bumper.
Revised Bumper and Grille: Both the front and rear bumpers have been updated, with the rear featuring a stainless-steel skid plate. The grille has also been subtly redesigned to enhance the Cullinan's iconic presence.
New Wheels: The facelift comes with fresh alloy wheels that add to the SUV's commanding look.
Full-Width Glass Dashboard Panel: Stretching across the dash, this glass panel adds a modern and expansive feel to the interior.
Display ‘Cabinet’: This new feature houses an intricately detailed analogue clock and an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy mascot beneath it.
Spirit Infotainment System: The latest version of Rolls-Royce’s infotainment system includes new graphics and display features, with an option to match the instrument panel’s colours to the exterior paint or interior upholstery.
Under the hood, the Cullinan facelift continues to be powered by the same 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, delivering impressive performance:
Standard Variant: Produces 571 hp and 850 Nm of torque.
Black Badge Version: Boosts power to 600 hp and 900 Nm of torque.
Both versions are equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that distributes power to all four wheels, ensuring an unmatched driving experience.
The updated Cullinan comes at a premium price, with the facelift costing around:
Rs 3.55 crore more than the pre-facelift Cullinan (previously Rs 6.95 crore).
The Black Badge version is priced Rs 4.05 crore higher than its predecessor (previously Rs 8.20 crore).
This makes the Cullinan Series II the most expensive SUV in India, with no direct rivals at this price point. Rolls-Royce has confirmed that deliveries for the Indian market will begin in Q4 of 2024.
The Cullinan facelift is a statement of luxury and power, combining cutting-edge technology with Rolls-Royce’s signature craftsmanship. With its enhanced design and unparalleled performance, it continues to set the benchmark in the luxury SUV segment.
