The Porsche Cayenne has received a mid-cycle update, and the facelift model has been launched in India at Rs. 1.35 crore. The Porsche Cayenne facelift will be offered in two variants, while the Cayenne Coupe is priced at Rs. 1.41 crore, all prices ex-showroom, India. The company has already started booking the facelift Cayenne, while deliveries will commence in July.
The updates include a new face with the redesigned bonnet, front and rear bumpers, new DRLs, refreshed LED headlamp unit, new taillight design and a light bar across the car's width at the rear. The Porsche Cayenne base variant comes shod with 20-inch alloy wheels, and the company offers 21 and 22-inch as well. The updated Porsche Cayenne will be offered in three colours: Algarve Blue Metallic, Montego Blue Metallic, and Arctic Grey.
Interior changes include a 12.6-inch curved driver display, a 12.3-inch infotainment unit and an optional 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen. The dash has been redesigned to give a fresh look. It gets an all-black treatment with leather upholstery, which adds to the premium feel of the cabin. The centre console is made of a black glass panel with integrated mechanical switches. Other noteworthy mentions are the air quality system, four USB Type-C ports, toggle style gear selector, and a 911-inspired steering wheel, to name a few.
The Porsche Cayenne comes with a slew of features such as adaptive air suspension with a levelling system and height adjustment, Porsche Active Suspension Management, four-zone climate control, multiple airbags, ambient lighting, a wireless charging pad, 150-watt 10-speaker sound system, Matrix LED headlamps, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, and auto-dimming IRVMs and ORVMs. The Porsche Cayenne comes equipped with a sports chrono package, which includes an eight-way power adjustable sport seat, a panoramic sunroof, and a gamut of optional features.
The Porsche Cayenne can dash from 0-100 kmph in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 248 kmph. Courtesy goes to the 3.0-litre, V6 turbo-petrol engine coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission that is good for 353 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. There is a hike of 13 bhp and 50 Nm of torque compared to the existing model.
