As excitement builds for the launch of the highly anticipated SUV, the Thar Roxx, Mahindra has unveiled a new teaser highlighting some of its interior features. The Indian automaker has confirmed that the Thar Roxx will debut on August 15, similar to the current three-door Thar. Here are the features that have been revealed:
The new Mahindra Thar Roxx will feature a fully digital driver's console that shows various information such as tire pressure, fuel level with driving range, and different display themes. This instrument cluster could be 10.25 inches in size, similar to the one in the 3X0, and may also include navigation information.
The teaser confirms that the Thar Roxx will come with ADAS, just like the 3X0 and XUV700. This system includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking for cyclists, pedestrians, and vehicles, forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, and lane-keeping assist. Additionally, it will have six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and disc brakes on all four wheels.
The Thar Roxx will feature a 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The high-definition touchscreen will also support voice commands. Like other recent Mahindra models, the Thar Roxx will include Adrenox technology, providing various functionalities like alerts, safety features, and location-based services.
Following the trend set by the 3X0 and the flagship XUV700, the Thar Roxx will have a panoramic sunroof. This feature enhances the cabin's brightness and spaciousness with natural light, and it is popular among customers. Entry-level variants might come with a single-panel sunroof.
Mahindra is positioning the Thar Roxx as a premium 4×4 vehicle. The high-end variant will have a leather-finished dashboard and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. For added comfort, it will include front-ventilated seats and advanced dual-zone climate control. Additionally, the Thar Roxx will feature a premium Harman Kardon sound system.
