New-Gen Skoda Kodiaq Set for Launch: Mileage and Colours Revealed
It has completely prepped everything for the launch of the second-generation Kodiaq SUV on April 17 at Skoda Auto India. The company has confirmed just about everything before the actual launch: fuel efficiency, variant line-up, and colour options.
The 2025 Kodiaq is powered by a more powerful engine and has fashionable updates that are supposed to augment its signature for the premium SUV market.
The new Skoda Kodiaq will be sold in two feature-packed variants, Sportline and L&K (Laurin & Klement), and prospective buyers will have a wide range of options in respect to seven distinct color options:
Velvet Red Metallic
Race Blue Metallic
Graphite Grey Metallic
Magic Black Metallic
Moon White Metallic
However, each variant will have a special color exclusively for it:
Bronx Gold Metallic is limited to Sportline.
Steel Grey is specific for the L&K.
Accorded with many fresh colors, the palette is modernized not just in terms of aesthetics but shall also be providing a more personalized experience for buyers.
The 2025 Kodiaq will flaunt a 0-litre turbo-petrol engine under its hood, which has been tuned to yield up to 201 bhp with 320 Nm of torque — a 14 bhp increase over the previous model. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. All this comes as standard with all-wheel drive (4x4) to deliver confident on-road and off-road performance.
Skoda claims to have the new Kodiaq offering 14.86 kmpl, which happens to be pretty impressive for a vehicle of such power and drivetrain setup.
The Kodiaq will leave its stamp on the D-segment SUV segment with all its top-class, performance-oriented features, bold palette, legacy, and much more. For price and details on variant-wise features, stay tuned for April 17, 2025, when the vehicle will be released.
