MG Majestor to Debut in India in Two Variants and Four Colours.
  • The MG Majestor will come in two variations and four exterior colours.

  • With its 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, the SUV is ready to take on rivals in India's high-end SUV market.

The 2026 MG Majestor, a formidable three-row SUV built for buyers looking for power, room, and contemporary features, was unveiled by MG Motor India. The Majestor, the brand's flagship internal combustion vehicle, is positioned above the Gloster in the lineup and is directly targeted at well-known competitors in the full-size SUV market.

With a starting price of about ₹41,000, reservations for the Majestor have started. Official pricing will be revealed upon launch in April 2026, and deliveries are anticipated to begin shortly after.

Customizing Your SUV with Colours and Variants

To accommodate a range of tastes, the Majestor will be available in four exterior colours: Concrete Grey, Metal Ash, Pearl White, and Metal Black. These muted hues provide customers with a blend of traditional and modern styles.

Sharp and Savvy are the two main variations that customers will be able to select from; each offers different equipment levels and improvements. Those who need both refinement and robust competence will have more options thanks to the Savvy variant's extra features and optional 4x4 drivetrain.

Power, Performance and Features

The 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine under the hood of the Majestor generates 213 horsepower and 478 Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. A four-wheel-drive system is another option available to buyers who want greater off-road capability and traction.

The Majestor is anticipated to have a number of contemporary features inside, such as a sizable touchscreen entertainment system, cutting-edge safety technology like Level-2 driving assistance, and a cozy cabin with three rows of seats that will appeal to both long-distance and family travellers.

How This Affects the SUV Industry

The new Volkswagen Tayron, the Skoda Kodiaq, and the Toyota Fortuner Legender are among the well-liked big SUVs that the Majestor will face off against. MG hopes the Majestor will appeal to customers seeking premium features without sacrificing performance by providing powerful diesel, a variety of variations, and a range of eye-catching colours.
