MG M9 EV - An Electric MPV To Be Launched On 21st July In India
MG Motor India has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming electric vehicle - the MG M9 EV. The premium electric MPV is all set to make its India debut on July 21, 2025. It is expected to offer a limousine-like experience, with advanced features, a 570 km range, a spacious cabin, and more.
This one by MG Motor is the 5th EV model made for the Indian market. In India, it will arrive as a completely built unit (CBU) and will be considered at the top of MG’s electric vehicle lineup.
The MPV is made for buyers looking for premium space, modern design, and a fully electric driving experience.
The exterior of this MG M9 is made to look sleek and promising with its sharp LED headlamps, a closed-off grille, which is common in EVs, and a large, bold body. The long wheelbase and sliding doors add to its MPV character and practicality.
This limousine-like EV is designed to look stylish while offering easy access for passengers. will be available in Mystic Grey, Luminous White, and Cardiff Black colours.
For the interiors, the cabin majorly focuses on comfort and luxury. The M9 EV comes with 3 rows, with great space and legroom in all 3 rows. The rows have features like USB chargers, AC vents, cup holders at their disposal, and are complete with massage function, ventilation, and electric recline as well.
There’s a large touchscreen infotainment system, and ambient lighting adds to its charm. The vehicle also includes ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) for improved safety.
The Indian version of this EV is expected to carry the same experience as it does internationally, which will make it one of the longest-range EVs in its class.

MG Motors has still not announced the official price yet. But the M9 EV is expected to be priced around ₹60 lakh (ex-showroom). Though it won’t have many direct rivals in India, it could attract buyers of high-end MPVs like the Toyota Vellfire or those considering to make and add luxury EVs to their vehicle range.
