McLaren is expanding its footprint in India, launching the 750S in the nation. The British performance vehicle maker has priced the 750S, the successor to the 720S, at a stunning Rs 5.91 crore (ex-showroom).
The 750S's exterior design is an evolution over the previous 720S, with highlights including a modified front bumper flanked by sleek LED headlamps with DRLS, a large splitter with air dams for improved aerodynamics and cooling, a swooping bonnet and roofline, new wheel arch vents, and an extended rear deck. In addition, the active rear wing spoiler is 20% larger than the one on its predecessor.
The interior features an incredibly useful cabin, with a simple layout and carbon fibre finishes across the dashboard. The seat cover is constructed of Nappa leather. The features include a fully digital instrument cluster, an eight-inch infotainment system, wireless charging, smartphone connectivity, a 360-degree surround camera, and a sound system from Bowers & Wilkins.
The 750S is powered by a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8, which produces 740bhp and 800 Nm of torque. A 7-speed DCT gearbox transfers power to the back wheels. McLaren claims that the 750S can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.8 seconds and reach 200 kmph in 7.2 seconds. As standard, the supercar comes with Pirelli P Zero summer tires. Optional rubbers include the P Zero Corsa and track-focused P Zero Trofeo R. The car sports 19-inch wheels up front and 20-inch wheels at the back.
