Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara S-Cng Launched, 2023 Mercedes-AMG E53 4matic+ Cabriolet Launched In a major development, Maruti Suzuki has launched the S-CNG variant of its flagship SUV, the Grand Vitara. The car is available in Delta and Zeta variants, priced at Rs 12.85 lakh and Rs 14.84 lakh respectively. Maruti Suzuki claims that the Grand Vitara S-CNG can deliver a fuel economy of up to 26.6 kilometers per kilogram. The CNG option is only available with the 1.5-liter four-cylinder smart hybrid dual jet VVT engine. Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz has launched the 2023 Mercedes-AMG E53 4matic+ Cabriolet in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.30 crore. The model has been introduced as a completely built unit (CBU) or imported model and is essentially a sportier two-door convertible version of the standard Mercedes-Benz E-class. The car gets similar AMG-specific styling updates at the front, while the profile and rear get a new design. The car also gets a revamped cabin sporting AMG-specific elements like new bucket seats and the flat-bottom steering wheel, while there is a wide range of designer-sourced interior themes and inlays. Under the hood is the tried and tested 3-liter inline six-cylinder twin-turbo petrol motor coupled with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The engine wells out 430 brake horsepower and 520 Newton meters, while the electric motor adds 21 brake horsepower and 2,150 Newton meters boost during hard acceleration. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels, and the German brand claims 4.5 seconds for the 0-200 kilometers per hour sprint on the AMG E53 Cabriolet, while it, in turn, clocks a top speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
