Sources report a Maruti Suzuki Fronx price hike of Rs 5,000 across Sigma, Zeta, Alpha and turbo-petrol variants, raising the base ex-showroom price from Rs 6.85 lakh to Rs 6.90 lakh.
Top-spec Alpha turbo dual-tone automatic prices now reach Rs 12.03 lakh ex-showroom (before registration tax and insurance), while middle Delta and Delta Plus manual, automated manual and CNG trims reportedly remain unchanged.
In this round, the base Sigma 1.2-litre petrol manual rises by Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,89,900 (rounded to Rs 6.90 lakh), and the Sigma compressed natural gas (CNG) manual reaches Rs 7,93,900 (Rs 7.94 lakh).
Upper Zeta (Rs 9.76 lakh to Rs 11.04 lakh) and Alpha (Rs 10.61 lakh to Rs 12.03 lakh) 1.0-litre turbo-petrol trims with the 5-speed manual (MT) and 6-speed torque-converter automatic (6AT) also add Rs 5,000.
Delta (Rs 7.75 lakh to Rs 8.74 lakh) and Delta Plus (Rs 8.15 lakh to Rs 8.65 lakh) 1.2-litre manual, automated manual transmission (AMT, a clutchless manual gearbox) and CNG trims keep their August prices.
Reports disagree on the Delta Plus Turbo MT (Rs 8.97 lakh, or Rs 8,96,900): October 16 coverage says Delta Plus is unchanged, while a September 26, 2026 tracker logged a Rs 5,000 hike from Rs 8,91,900, requiring dealer confirmation.
The Baleno-based crossover keeps its 3,995 mm length, 308-litre boot and powertrains.

Maruti Suzuki has not stated a specific cause for this October move, though its August (up to Rs 30,000) and September 7, 2026 (up to Rs 20,000) stock-exchange filings cited rising input costs.
October 15, 2026 Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) data showed steel up 30 per cent, aluminium up 23 per cent and freight up 60 per cent, and Senior Executive Officer Partho Banerjee noted calibrated hikes follow when value engineering hits its limit. And prices still undercut the April 24, 2023 launch starter of Rs 7,46,500 after the September 22, 2025 Goods and Services Tax (GST) cut of Rs 74,000 to Rs 1.11 lakh.
Rivalling the Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kylaq, Tata Nexon and Toyota Taisor, the Fronx crossed 2,00,000 exports in August 2026. It packs a 9-inch touchscreen, head-up display, 360-degree camera, standard six airbags and electronic stability program (ESP).
For buyers shopping this festive season, the revision reverses August 2026, when middle Delta trims rose by Rs 4,600 to Rs 7,500 while Sigma petrol and turbo variants stayed flat.
This Maruti Suzuki Fronx price hike adds Rs 5,000 to base Sigma and upper turbo-petrol variants without changing features or specs. If you want a commuter untouched by this round, the 1.2-litre Delta and Delta Plus petrol, AMT and CNG trims hold their August prices.
