Maruti Sales July 2025- Suzuki Dzire logged best, Brezza disappoints
Maruti Suzuki remained the leading automaker in India with a 39.7 percent market share in July of 2025. The company sold 1,37,776 which is a slight increase of 1,37,463 units in July 2024 but a healthy 16 % increase in June 2025 compared to 1,18,906 units.
The Dzire became the best-selling car in India in July of 2025 with a new component surpassing the Hyundai Creta. The sedan sold 20,895 units with a 79% YoY and 35% MoM increase compared with July 2024 and June 2025, 11,647 units and 15,484 units respectively.
This is mainly because their roughly equal volume is currently enjoying strong demand.
The Ertiga was next at 16,604, an increase of 6% YoY and 17% increase on a monthly basis. The WagonR moved 14,701 units, declining 9 percent on a YoY basis but escalating 14 percent on a MoM basis and the Swift sold 14,190 units, which fell 16 percent on YoY basis but rose 7 percent on MoM scale.
Brezza recorded a decline in the YoY and MoM sales value of 14,065. By contrast, the Fronx rocketed along with 12,872 units, 18% YoY and 31% MoM growth, thanks in large part to standard six-airbag safety systems.
The Baleno sold 12,503 units, 34 per cent YoY and 39 per cent MoM above, and Eeco van got a clean 12,341 units, also an improvement over the previous month.
The mid-range competitors such as Grand Vitara (6,373), Alto (5,910), and XL6 (2,146) recorded YoY declines, but Alto and XL6 enjoyed MoM improvements. Smaller versions such as the Ignis, Celerio and S-Presso declined, with the Jimny and Ciaz declining sharply.
Growing in popularity in hybrids as well, the Invicto MPV, an inexpensive 7-seater hybrid car, recorded a 40% YoY rise in demand and 33% increase MoM to 351 units.
