Mahindra XUV 700 And XUV 400 Recalled

Mahindra has recalled over one lakh units of the XUV 700

Mahindra has recalled 1,08,306 XUV 700 models manufactured between June 8,2021 and June 28, 2023 regarding a potential abrasion-producing cuts in the wiring loom routing in the engine bay.

The company has also recalled 3,560 XUV 400 manufactured between Feb 16, 2023 and June 5, 2023 regarding a problem with the brake potentiometer's spring return action.

The company will contact the owners of the affected vehicle in a phased manner for an inspection and will repair the vehicle free of charge.

The XUV 700 comes with both petrol and diesel powertrains. It uses a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 197 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine that makes 182 bhp and 450 Nm of peak torque.
