Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG Leaked Ahead of October 15 Reveal

The Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG will be shown on October 15, 2026, according to several reports. Mahindra has not confirmed any CNG details yet.
This is a new fuel option for the existing XUV 3XO, not a new generation. Once on sale, it would join the Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon as the only compact SUVs (under 4 m long) with factory-fitted compressed natural gas (CNG).
Leaked images show a CNG sticker on the rear glass, connected tail lamps, a rear spoiler, roof rails, a black bumper with a silver skid plate and dual-tone alloy wheels. The body otherwise appears unchanged.
Inside, the leaks show a 10.25 inch touchscreen, a 10.25 inch driver display, a start-stop button and a dashboard switch to change between petrol and CNG.
Tank capacity is not known. Boot space is unclear too: Mahindra lists 364 litres for the current car, but one report gives 295 litres.
The CNG kit is expected on the 1.2 litre MPFI (multi-point fuel injection) turbo-petrol. It injects fuel into the intake port, which makes it easier to adapt for gas than the more powerful direct-injection engine.

A Quick Note: 111 hp and 200 Nm are the current petrol engine's figures. Mahindra has not released any CNG figures.
Reports expect two variants, RevX M and AX5, at about Rs 9.54 lakh and Rs 10.90 lakh ex-showroom. These are estimates. Prices may follow weeks after the reveal, and no booking date is set.
The current XUV 3XO range costs Rs 7.79 lakh to Rs 15.04 lakh ex-showroom, as of October 8, 2026.
Mahindra must meet CAFE-III (Corporate Average Fuel Efficiency) carbon dioxide limits for its fleet from April 2027, and CNG models help. The XUV 3XO has sold more than 2.5 lakh units since its April 29, 2024 launch and holds a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.
For now, the XUV 3XO CNG is a leak with a date attached. Mahindra has not announced the CNG power, mileage, tank capacity, boot space, variants, prices, booking date or kit warranty.
