Last year, a prototype of the vehicle was spotted in India; it had the first-generation Scorpio model's taillights and design cues from the Scorpio-N. Given that the test mule suggested a more subdued version of the concept car and did away with some of its distinguishing elements, like the alloy wheels, side skirts, and sporty rear bumper, it is likely that this was not the final production version.
The production pick-up is expected to have an MHawk diesel engine coupled to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox as part of its powertrain.
