Mahindra Bolero Range Gets a Price Hike of Up to Rs. 26,500 in India
  • The Mahindra Bolero range has received a price revision of up to Rs. 26,500 across all three models.
  • The hike affects multiple variants of the Bolero, Bolero Neo, and Bolero Neo Plus, with new prices now updated across the board.

Mahindra has quietly but firmly nudged the pricing of its Bolero family northward. The revision covers all three models in the range and was reported on May 07, 2026. For buyers who have been eyeing these no-nonsense diesel SUVs, the revised price list is something worth paying close attention to before heading to a dealership.

Standard Bolero Sees the Biggest Hike

The vanilla Bolero, which continues to be one of the most straightforward and utilitarian offerings in the Indian market, is available in four variants - B4, B6, B6(O), and B8.

The B4 variant sees a modest increase of Rs. 500, while the B6 and B6(O) variants receive significantly steeper hikes of Rs. 25,500 and Rs. 26,500, respectively.

The B8, the top-spec option, is now Rs. 21,500 dearer than before. With the revised pricing in place, the Bolero now carries an ex-showroom price band of Rs. 7.99 lakh to Rs. 9.90 lakh.

Under the bonnet, the standard Bolero continues with the 1.5-litre mHAWK 75 unit engine, putting out 75bhp and 210Nm of torque, with power going to the rear wheels via a manual gearbox.

Bolero Neo Prices Revised Across Variants

The Bolero Neo, which sits a notch above the standard model and appeals to buyers looking for a slightly more refined but still rugged package, also sees a round of price increases.

The N4 variant gets a hike of Rs. 15,500, while the N8 sees an increase of Rs. 5,000. The remaining three variants - N10(R), N11, and N10(O) each go up by Rs. 500. Post-revision, the Bolero Neo is priced between Rs. 8.84 lakh and Rs. 10.49 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Bolero Neo is powered by the same 1.5-litre mHAWK engine as the standard Bolero, though in a higher state of tune, where it produces 100bhp and 260Nm, once again paired with rear-wheel drive and a manual transmission.

Bolero Neo Plus Gets a Moderate Price Bump

The Bolero Neo Plus, the largest and most capable member of the Bolero family, is offered in two variants.

The P4 now costs Rs. 9,500 more, bringing its ex-showroom price to Rs. 10.99 lakh, while the P10 is up by Rs. 4,500, now retailing at Rs. 11.99 lakh.

The Neo Plus is also notable for its nine-seat configuration, laid out in a 2+3+4 arrangement, making it a practical choice for larger families or commercial use. It draws power from a 2.2-litre diesel motor that produces 118bhp and 280Nm of torque.

What This Means for Buyers

For those in the market for a robust, diesel-only SUV that does not ask for much in return, the Bolero range still represents good value despite the upward revision. The hikes, though noticeable in certain variants, do not fundamentally alter the positioning of these vehicles. They remain among the more accessible SUVs available in the country, particularly for buyers in semi-urban and rural markets where durability and ground clearance matter more than bells and whistles.
