Lexus India has temporarily halted bookings for its premium MPV, the Lexus LM 350h, effective from September 21, 2024. The automaker attributes the decision to supply chain issues and the need to complete pending orders.
The Lexus LM 350h, launched in March 2024 with a starting price of Rs 2.0 crore, is only available as a fully loaded variant. Powered by a 2.5-litre petrol hybrid powertrain, similar to the one offered in the Camry Hybrid, the luxury MPV comes in four and seven-seat configurations. Bookings for the model initially opened in August 2023, and since then, it has received an overwhelming response.
In an official statement, Lexus India expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic response to the LM 350h. “Lexus India is humbled by the overwhelming response received from our guests for the Lexus LM 350h, and we sincerely thank all our guests for their strong support. Designed for a serene and productive passenger experience, the luxurious vehicle embodies Lexus’ commitment to delivering exceptional comfort, innovative design, and unparalleled grandeur.”
Lexus also highlighted the importance of the model's debut at the Auto Expo 2023, marking a new era in ultra-luxury mobility in India. "We are committed to providing our guests with world-class products, thereby strengthening our relationship and continuing our legacy of innovation and excellence," the statement concluded.
