In the Indian market, the Jeep Compass midsize SUV has been around for five years. The American SUV manufacturer will introduce the new Jeep Compass 5th anniversary edition in the nation to commemorate the milestone. The Compass was the cheapest Jeep in our market when it was introduced in 2017. Customers have responded favourably to the SUV, the best-selling Jeep vehicle in our market.
Jeep had launched several special editions and a mid-life makeover in 2021 to keep the Compass modern. This trim has an all-black theme and is gloss black inside and out. It has a gloss black front grille, black ORVMs, black roof rails, and 18-inch blacked-out alloy wheels.
The Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition is anticipated to get only minimal inside and exterior cosmetic upgrades. The "5th Anniversary" symbol is shown in the teaser image of the automobile. There is no information available from the corporation regarding the new edition. Changes made to the Compass Night Eagle Edition may also apply to the SUV. The SUV includes a push-button start, dual-zone climate control, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and ABS with EBD and Xenon projector headlamps.
There won't be any mechanical improvements made to the new 5th-anniversary version. The diesel version's 173 horsepower, 2.0L turbo engine is paired with a 6-speed manual or 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The 163 horsepower, 1.4L turbocharged petrol car that drives the petrol variant is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The automatic versions come with the AWD system.
