Toyota Innova Hycross Is All Set To Launch At Auto Expo 2023

Toyota, a renowned Japanese automobile manufacturer, announced to launch of its Toyota Innova Hycross at Auto Expo 2023.

Innova Hycross is the third hybrid model in India, which has a 2.0-liter strong petrol engine, which also comes with a 2.0-liter hybrid petrol engine with a fuel efficiency of 21.1kmpl. Its normal petrol engine takes 174PS of power at 6600rpm and 204Nm of torque between 4500rpm and 4900rpm.

On the other hand, its 2.0L petrol hybrid engine makes 186PS of power at 6600rpm and 206Nm of torque between 4400rpm and 5200rpm, also available with a CVT transmission.

Its top features include powered reclining 2nd-row seats with calf rests, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, mood lighting, a 10.1-inch touchscreen with eight speakers and a subwoofer, auto-high beam, blind spot monitor, and a lot more.

Toyota Innova Hycross will be a direct competitor to Mahindra XUV700m MG Hector Plus, Kia Carens, and the Scorpio-N.

Tata Punch EV Is Expected To Make A Debut At Auto Expo

Tata Motors is set to debut the all-electric model of the Tata Punch Compact SUV at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023, scheduled next month. Its launch is expected to happen around Diwali in 2023.

Tata Punch EV architecture is used in the ICE-powered Punch version, including the Altroz hatchback. It is said to have a heavily modified version of the ALFA platform, which has space to place a large battery pack.
front-left-side-47 (24).webp The model is expected to look similar to the ICE model and will have a similar powertrain as Tata's existing EVs. On the pricing front, it will be priced near or above the Tata Tiago EV. The EV is expected to look like the regular Punch while featuring blue highlights, as seen on other Tata EVs. However, the company has yet to share any technical details of the EV, but we can expect it to source the Ziptron powertrain from its sibling models. Moreover, Tata will be increasing the price of its vehicles starting from January 2023, the Managing Director Passenger Vehicle and Electric Vehicles, Shailesh Chandra, said.
