Audi has launched India's first ultra-fast charging station at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. The total capacity of the ultra-fast charger installed here is 450kW and it can provide 360kW power to electric vehicles.

The total capacity of the ultra-fast charger installed here is 450kW and it can provide 360kW power to electric vehicles. This charger is equipped with a 500 amps liquid-cooled gun.
This charger can charge the Audi Q8 55 e-tron with a 114 kWh battery (the largest battery in a car in India) from 20 percent to 80 percent in just 26 minutes. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, “Audi India inaugurated India’s first ultra-fast charging station. This is an effort towards creating a larger ecosystem of electric vehicles for our customers. The ultra-fast charging 'e-tron hub' is located in Mumbai's business center Bandra Kurla Complex. A large number of electric vehicle owners can easily come here."
He said, “The rapid charging infrastructure is designed to provide extremely short charging times. We are not only setting new standards within the industry but also firmly standing for the future of eco-friendly transportation.”
