Hyundai Venue Crosses 1 Lakh Bookings; New HX8 Diesel AT
  • Hyundai achieves a massive 1 lakh bookings milestone, solidifying the Venue’s position as a leader in the premium compact SUV segment.

  • The new HX8 Diesel AT variant debuts at Rs 13.70 lakh ex-showroom, featuring a 6-speed torque converter, ventilated seats, and advanced traction modes.

Hyundai Motor India is on a roll. The company recently announced that the all-new Hyundai Venue has officially crossed the 1 lakh bookings milestone. To commemorate this achievement and offer more value to its customers, Hyundai has introduced a brand-new variant: the HX8 Diesel Automatic (AT).

This new variant is strategically positioned to bridge the gap between the mid-spec trims and the top-of-the-line HX10. It makes the convenience of a diesel-automatic combination significantly more accessible.

Premium Features of Venue HX8 Diesel AT Variant

Hyundai has packed the HX8 variant with several segment-first and premium features that were previously reserved for higher-end SUVs.

Key highlights include:

  • Ventilated Front Seats: A boon for the Indian summer, ensuring a cool and comfortable ride.

  • 4-Way Powered Driver Seat: For finding the perfect driving position at the touch of a button.

  • Ambient Lighting: Subtle lighting across the crash pad and central console to elevate the cabin's night-time aesthetics.

  • Tech-Forward Cabin: Featuring dual-tone leatherette seats with unique "VENUE" branding and Over-the-Air (OTA) software update capabilities.

  • Safety & Control: The variant includes Rear Disc Brakes and an Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold, features that significantly improve safety and stop-and-go city driving.

Performance Customization

Under the hood, the Venue HX8 Diesel AT is powered by the tried-and-tested 1.5-litre U2 CRDi engine. This engine delivers a robust 116 hp and 250 Nm of torque, ensuring plenty of punch for both city overtakes and highway cruising. The engine is mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, providing a smooth and effortless driving experience.

New Standards in the SUV Space

The launch of the HX8 Diesel AT variant at Rs 13.70 lakh strategically positions Hyundai to capture the premium end of the diesel SUV market. By blending efficiency, high torque, and a suite of luxury features, Hyundai is ensuring that the Venue remains a top choice for Indian families and enthusiasts. With 1 lakh bookings already in the bag, the road ahead for the Venue looks more promising than ever, proving that Indian buyers are more than ready for "smart" and "connected" mobility.
