Hyundai unveils its newest Tucson SUV

In India, Hyundai finally debuted the new fourth-generation Tucson. The Korean automaker launched bookings for the new Tuscon for Rs 50,000 before the vehicle's premiere, which is scheduled for August 4, 2022. The SUV model had its global premiere in September 2020.

Compared to its predecessor, the next generation Hyundai Tuscon receives several external and internal changes. It has been in the works for quite some time. The 2.0-litre petrol and diesel powertrains will be available for the new-generation Tucson. The former is linked with a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and produces 154 horsepower at 6200 rpm and a maximum torque of 192 Nm at 4500 rpm.

Five monochromatic colours, including Fiery Red, Phantom Black, Polar White, Starry Night, and Amazon Grey, will be offered for the 2022 Hyundai Tucson.

Tucson has undergone a significant aesthetic makeover. Tucson has a new grille with a Parametric Jewel concept and a reworked front face. It has a distinctive appearance due to its strong character lines and sharp, flared wheel arches.

Beginning with its appearance, the new Tucson has undergone a total redesign. Dark chrome components of the 3D grille elegantly incorporate LED DRLs (daytime running lights). The 18-inch machine-cut alloy wheels fill the enormous squared wheel arches with a dual-tone finish.

The interior of the vehicle features a tech feast, some of the standout features being wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, BlueLink connected car technology with Amazon Alexa and Google Home integration, ventilated front seats, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor, 64-colour ambient lighting, etc. They feature an eye-catching twin-screen arrangement dashboard on a 10.25-inch display.

Tucson includes many airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with Level 2 Autonomous technology.

We may anticipate its pricing to be approximately Rs 25 lakh. It will face stiff competition from vehicles like the Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV700, Citroen C5 Aircross, and MG Hector.
