Hyundai Aura SX Updated With New Features, Price Hiked

Hyundai Motor India has also rolled out a feature upgrade to the Aura SX trim that is immediately below the upper-end SX(O). The sedan receives the projector headlamps and the Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC) system that were initially available only to higher variants. This upgrade not only improves the appearance of the car but also improves comfort for middle-range customers by providing them with high-quality equipment.

Such additions have increased the prices of the Aura SX by Rs 9,000. Aura SX 1.2 Petrol MT now costs Rs 8.24 lakh, and 1.2 CNG MT costs Rs 9.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Features That Stay

In addition to the new additions, the Aura SX still has a strong set of features, including:

  • 20.25 cm (8-inch) touchscreen infotainment system

  • Rear camera with static guidelines

  • Smart key with push-button start/stop

  • 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels

Together with the new upgrades, this list makes the SX trim one of the most balanced offerings in the Aura lineup.

Engine and Gearbox Choices

The Aura SX continues to use its proven 1.2-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 83bhp and 114 Nm with a 5-speed manual transmission. There is also the choice of a CNG-powered variant with 69bhp and 95 Nm, driven by a manual transmission as well. Hyundai is still providing the SX+ AMT in the line.

  • Aura E 1.2 Petrol – Rs 6.54 lakh

  • Aura S 1.2 Petrol – Rs 7.38 lakh

  • Aura Corporate 1.2 MT – Rs 7.48 lakh
