Hyundai Aura Facelift Launched New Design, More Features, Same Engine

Hyundai has launched the facelift of its Aura subcompact sedan in India. The new Aura gets a host of cosmetic updates, including a new grille, new headlamps, new tail lamps, and new alloy wheels. The interior also gets some updates, including a new dashboard and new upholstery.

The engine remains the same as the pre-facelift Aura, a 1.2-liter petrol engine that produces 83 PS and 114 Nm of torque. The engine is available with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT transmission. There is also a CNG variant available, which produces 69 PS and 95 Nm of torque. The CNG variant is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The new Aura is available in four trims: E, S, SX, and SX(O). Prices start at ?6.30 lakh for the base E trim and go up to ?8.73 lakh for the top-spec SX(O) trim. The CNG variant is available in two trims: S and SX(O), and prices start at ?7.20 lakh for the base S trim and go up to ?8.87 lakh for the top-spec SX(O) trim.

The new Aura rivals the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor.
