The Honda Elevate has been spotted undergoing testing in Japan before its debut. Select dealerships apparently have started taking unofficial reservations. The Honda Elevate may be seen in spy photos with a completely camouflaged test mule, displaying its upright attitude, LED headlights with LED DRLs, a slimmer air dam, fog lamps, and fake skid plates.
The spy photo shows the side and rear profiles, including an integrated spoiler, wraparound taillights, a shark-fin antenna, and ORVMs on the front doors.
According to a recent source, the 2023 Honda Elevate will include a single-pane electric sunroof, dual-tone roof rails, chrome-finished slat grille, LED light bars running the length of the boot lid, and LED headlights and tail lamps. A freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, automated climate control, and a 360-degree camera are anticipated for the Honda Elevate's interior.
The top-tier variants of the Elevate SUV may get Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) installed by Honda Cars. It is predicted that the 1.5-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder engine in the Honda Elevate, which is similar to the Honda City's, would produce a maximum torque of 145 Nm and a maximum power output of 117 horsepower. The Honda Elevate is expected to cost between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on features. Some of its rivals in the Indian market are the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, and Volkswagen Taigun.
